The class will be centered on interpreting and determining coverage for variety of misunderstood claims situations presented in question format. This session will explain the 2013 revisions to the ISO 2013 Commercial Property/General Liability program. It will allow participants to effectively explain to customers and colleagues how the forms have changes as well as understand how the changes will affect claims settlements. Cyber related exposures will also be reviewed.

The first half of this session will discuss methods and strategies for communicating flood risk messages to the public, and will discuss the ways in which communities can change the way they speak about their own flood risk, in order to reduce flood losses. The second half of the session will review basic concepts of flood insurance, coverage available through the NFIP and address the changes and the challenges of implementing some of the changes required under the Biggert-Waters Act.
